X5CrNi18-10

Anodizing
Pickling and Passivation

Composition: 18% Chromium, 10% Nickel.
Excellent corrosion resistance.
Similar to X10CrNi18-8 but with slightly higher nickel content, offering enhanced toughness.
Excellent weldability.

Food and Beverage Industry: Equipment used in food processing, dairy, and pharmaceuticals.
Architectural: Widely used in the construction of buildings and bridges.

X5CrNiMo17-12-2

Anodizing
Powder Coating

Composition: 17% Chromium, 12% Nickel, 2% Molybdenum.
Resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
High strength.
Good weldability.

Marine Applications: Boat parts, and pipelines exposed to seawater.
Chemical Processing: Pumps, valves, and reactors.

X2CrNiMo 17-12-2

Pickling
Passivation

Composition: 17% Chromium, 12% Nickel, 2% Molybdenum.
Similar to X5CrNiMo17-12-2 but with better weldability and slightly more resistant to certain acids.
High strength, good toughness, ductility.

Pharmaceutical Industry: Tanks and other equipment exposed to aggressive environments.
Food and Beverage: Equipment for processing food that requires high hygiene standards.

1.4310

1.4310 (AISI 301)

Passivation
Polishing

Composition: 16-18% Chromium, 6-8% Nickel.
Good general corrosion resistance, but less resistant than 304 or 316 grades.
High strength, particularly after cold working.
Can be hardened through cold working.

Composition: 18% Chromium, 8% Nickel.
Excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments.
Good strength, excellent formability, and weldability.

Piping, tanks, and vessels.

1.4401 (AISI 316)

Passivation
Pickling

Composition: 16% Chromium, 10% Nickel, 2% Molybdenum.
Characteristics:
Exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chloride-exposed environments.
Higher strength and toughness than 304.

Boat fittings, sea-water systems.
Storage tanks and processing equipment exposed to acids.

1.4404

1.4404 (AISI 316L)

Passivation
Pickling

Composition: 16% Chromium, 10% Nickel, 2% Molybdenum (Lower Carbon than 1.4401).
Characteristics:
Even better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion than 316.
Excellent weldability, with minimal carbide precipitation during welding.

Medical: Implants, surgical instruments.
Pharmaceutical and food equipment.
